Frequently asked questions
Cleaning
The unit will be clean when you arrive. If you need additional cleaning during your stay,it can be arranged at an extra cost. 2 toilet rolls, a fresh garbage bag and some dishwashing liquid is provided for your stay. I recommend bringing more of these items from home.
For longer stays, please ask house keeping for more.
Laundry
The washer & dryer is for house keeling only. There are laundromats in town for personal use
TV Trouble Shooting
• Is TV switched on
• Is remote working and batteries not flat
• Is DSTv on (green light)
• Did you try and change the source on remote. Source must be correct
• Have any plugs or wires been unplugged or turned-off?
• We have holiday package, so not all channels work. Did you check other channels?
• Tv is connected to WiFi, does WiFi work?
• Does Netflix or other SMART Tv options work?
• What message do you get on the Tv?
***Please be aware, 99% of issues are settings on tv. Please try resolve the issue on your own. Should a technician be sent out and the fault is with settings - a call out fee will be charged to the Guest
PS:
1. We had a guest say DSTv didnt work. When we sent technician that costs us R800, the DSTv was not on
2. We had a guest who said Tv did not work. When we sent technician, Tv was not plugged in

Chakas Cove
Take N2 past Ballito (from Durban side) to Umhlali offramp. Cross back over freeway and head towards ocean. Chakas Cove is the last complex on right before you hit ocean drive.

The unit will be clean when you arrive. The unit has a washer for your convenience. (Unit 97/54/33/10 have a washer dryers) The complex also has a laudromat. Daily cleaning can be arranged.

Chakas Cove is a self-catering unit. I suggest bringing as much food and supplies as possible from home, especially coffee, milk, sugar, toilet paper and garbage bags, unless you plan on eating out. Local supplies can be a lot more expensive. If you plan to use the outside braai, bring charcoal/wood and matches.
